Czego nie rozumie PiS?

Bruksela, czytaj Berlin i Paryż, zmierzają do scentralizowania władzy, skupienia jej w jednym miejscu, nad którym – co warto podkreślić  – mają pełnie władzy.

Zrozumiała to Wielka Brytania występując z UE i zrozumieli to Szwajcarzy zrywając negocjacje o przystąpieniu do UE. Czego nie rozumie PiS?

What does PiS not understand?

Brussels, I mean Berlin and Paris, are striving to centralize their power, to concentrate it in one place over which – it is worth emphasizing – they have full power.

The purpose of this operation is the United States of Europe (EnMS), the difference between the United States of America (USA) and the EnMS would be (and there would be a fundamental difference) that individual EnMS provinces would be granted autonomy at the municipal level in Poland, which is the primary self-government (there is also a village council below) in the structures of the state. Some Poles find this vision interesting, others do not. The first attitude can be easily explained. For the past 200 years, someone has made a decision without us. And somehow it was possible to live without the torment of governance, without making decisions. Every now and then, wanting to get up from our knees, we raised our heads. However, each uprising was bloodily suppressed.

Law and Justice (PiS – the ruling party) wants to be cast as guardians of sovereignty. But to be the guardian of sovereignty, you have to put on the shoes of the decision-makers. This role is not reserved for Poland, at least for Poland that demands recognition of its subjectivity. You cannot eat a cookie (be in the EU) and eat it at the same time (be a sovereign state in the EU). The political opposition has understood this a long time ago and is ready to make far-reaching concessions, not to say – capitulation. PiS is at a crossroads – they will let us rule our backyard, will we have to obey all orders (like this commune) from Brussels?

Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski, Gdynia’s founding father, said that Poland had two deficits: money and a lack of wise politicians. Well, you can make scrambled eggs from an egg, but not the other way around. It is the same with the European Union. You can be a member of this organization, but at the same time you cannot be a sovereign state. Great Britain understood this when leaving the EU and the Swiss understood it when they broke off the negotiations on joining the EU. What does PiS not understand?
